Ash House, Barrow Hill (31)

Redesigned in 2021, the garden has a sweeping lawn reflecting the contours of the South Downs beyond. It features a wildlife pond, prairie style planting, flower beds and a raised vegetable bed. Now maturing but still a work in progress.

Ash House is not on the Festival Map. It is best reached on foot from the footpath that runs above and down Barrow Hill from the Borrer Bank. Marked in red on the map below. Walk down the path and some steps to the road crossing gates and cross the road - do take care when crossing Barrow Hill. After crossing the road, turn left and up some more steps to Ash House.
