Saturday 13th June 2020
South View, South View Terrace, BN5 9ES
Beautiful, colourful terrace patio gardens in which residents have planted a wide variety of flowers and shrubs, not only to enjoy themselves but also to attract bees and insects. After enjoying the small gardens, rest and relax on The Green overlooking the brook fields and South Downs, whilst enjoying teas and cakes supplied by 1st Henfield Scout Group. The Cubs will be presenting an exhibition explaining their involvement in the new recycling initiative "Sustainable Henfield 2030". Then, before dragging yourself away to other venues, pay a visit to the hens behind No.6 where Alan will be on hand to answer your questions about the unusual breeds.
Open Saturday only.
Partial wheelchair access; dogs on leads welcome.
South View Terrace is an unmade track, and as such is uneven and can be a bit muddy in wet weather, although not too bad as it's sandy soil. The Green is also uneven, but is the most delightful place in Henfield to sit and enjoy a cuppa whilst enjoying the beautiful Sussex countyside.
Art: Janet Bridgewater patchwork.
Music: Jim Minogue.
