I'm Rachel Goddard, an artist and creative based in Brighton. My inspiration comes from the landscapes and nature around me. I am generally always found either on the downs or by/in the sea. Recently I've created two series of paintings which I'll have at the Open Gardens. One is based on the treasures I find on the beach and in the rockpools. The other set is inspired by my love of wildflowers, especially their silhouettes.
I also make papercuts and will have some of butterflies at the open garden. All artwork will be for sale alongside my parent's work.
