An evening with Simon Brett

the borrer bank

The Borrer Bank, at the top of Barrow Hill, has been replanted to increase biodiversity and to help support our precious insect populations. The outcome will be a bank with a variety of garden and wild flowers and five small fruit trees. This should make a more pleasant viewpoint and act as a homage to our celebrated local botanist, William Borrer and his love of all plants. Planting has been undertaken by volunteers from Sustainable Henfield 2030 and from Henfield Conservation Volunteers.
